Don’t forget students can submit their applications for State Officer for a Day Middle-Level Program where they will have the opportunity to Shadow their “Buddy Officer” at the Delaware State BPA Leadership Team at the Middle-Level State Leadership Conference on February 28, 2018. The program is designed to encourage Middle-Level students to pursue Secondary Level BPA as future leaders.

State Officer Visits Buddy School! Smyrna Middle School participated in a presentation facilitated by their Buddy School State Treasurer, Rinal Patel (Caesar Rodney High School). SOLT Secretary, Grace Yeung, received an enthusiastic and warm welcome at the Thursday, November 17th meeting of the Alfred G. Waters M. S. BPA Chapter. Grace shared the 2016-17 BPA program agenda, discussed her experiences as a member of the Student Officer Leadership Team (SOLT), elaborating on the roles and responsibilities of each officer, and encouraged student participation in the SOFAD program. The Career and Technical Education Department hosted the 2016 Fall Leadership Conference for its Career and Technical Student Organizations on November 1 & 2, 2016 at Delaware State University. The conference presented an opportunity to promote career excellence, leadership and citizenship among and between these organizations.
On April 14, 2016, I attended the Delaware Advisory Council on Career and Technical Education Board Meeting to express the importance of CTSOs, especially on high school students in the state of Delaware. As the representative of the Delaware Association of Business Professionals of America, I was given the opportunity to speak about the impact that BPA has had on my high school career and future endeavors in the world of business and entrepreneurship.
